The last Thursday of each June, Americans celebrate National Handshake Day.
You are supposed to shake the hand of at least one person that you would not have on any other day. And then? YWell, you wish them a good day and... you can stop there or keep on chatting!
The tradition of handshaking is very ancient, as texts and ruins dating back to the archaeological era show that handshaking was already practiced in ancient Greece in the 5th century BC.

Halloween was an ancient Celtic festival, known as Samhain (pronounced "sah-win").
This festival celebrated the end of the harvest season. People believed that on October 31, the worlds of the living and the dead superimposed, and the deceased could come back to life and cause destruction or sickness.
